I’m Hannah. I was born and raised in northeast Ohio, but I followed my heart to the sunshine in the South. I fell in love with the art of photography while longing to capture the charm of Charleston (think overflowing window boxes, flickering copper carriage lanterns and the ‘clip clop’ of horse drawn carriages around every corner).
I’ve had the unique opportunity to set the stage in wedding and event coordination, and put pen to paper in magazine editing. Now you’ll find me behind the lens, taking an editorial approach with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling. Three words to describe my aesthetic? Romantic, authentic and timeless.
Most days you’ll find me wandering through the cobblestone streets of Charleston (summer dress on, camera in hand) or planning my next jet-setting adventure. While I love to find inspiration in exploring beautiful new destinations, sometimes there’s no place I’d rather be than cuddled up on the couch watching “You’ve Got Mail” with a chai tea latte nearby.
But enough about me, let’s hear about you! I can’t wait to get to know you and share your story.
I have an unrivaled passion for traveling and find I am often most inspired and creative when experiencing new destinations. I would love to travel for your wedding! Inquire for information on traveling fees.
Film is simply timeless. With its soft grain and beautiful tones, a film photograph is unparalleled to any other, not to mention incredibly romantic. Unlike digital photography, shooting film requires the photographer to slow down, resulting in the creation of a well thought out frame.
I provide gentle direction, but aim to capture authentic, intimate moments and allow each moment to unfold naturally. I shoot with an editorial approach, paying special attention to the unique details that tell your love story.
All photographs will be delivered within 12 weeks of your wedding date.
Yes, I am happy to be flexible with your photography needs. We can pre-arrange any additional hours you may need outside of those offered in the collections. You may also choose to add on a portrait or engagement session, professional prints and / or albums to your collection.
I’d love to encourage you to choose a location that reflects who you are as a couple. What do you enjoy to do together? What is your style? I highly recommend choosing an outdoor location in order to achieve those romantic, natural light-filled film images you’re dreaming of. If you aren’t sure where to start, I am happy to suggest a few favorite locations for your session.
My primary camera is a Contax 645 medium format film camera and the film type I use is based off what fits best for the location and lighting. I also shoot with a Nikon digital camera paired with Nikon prime lenses.
Yes, I would never deliver an unfinished product. The click of the shutter is only step one. After your session or wedding, I will carefully select the most beautiful images and begin the editing process. RAW files will not be released.
